ABOUT LINDSAY

Hello! My name is Kari. I am Lindsay's cousin on her mom's side of the family. In the photo below, you can clearly see a very happy crowd! These are the Talbots. The greatest people I've ever known! Lindsay is very important to this group of people! As you can see, we all got together and purchased "Fight Like a Girl" t-shirts to wear for our infamous Christmas Eve get together. Why is it infamous? Well, you just don't miss it! If you do, you will regret it! These people are just the greatest people in the world. We are very lucky to have a funny, gorgeous, sweet, smart, loving person like Lindsay in our family!

I won't go too deep into the details, but about six years ago, Lindsay was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Obviously, this was extremely scary for everyone. But, we rallied around Linds and, being the strong person she is, she beat cancer's booty! Two years later, sadly, the cancer made its unwelcome return. Linds won round 2! Take that, cancer! Recently, when the cancer returned for the third time, Lindsay underwent a surgery known as 'debulking.' So far, so good! But, we are still rallying around our fighter! She has a huge, though sometimes wacky, support system to lean on! More importantly, she has her little boy, Mason. He has been more than a son to Linds. He has been her ray of sunshine no matter how cloudy the day.
